Dagihat youth club won the opening match of 11th RARA gold cup played at Rajarani, Dhankuta on Thursday. Dagihat defeated Dandabazar FC, Dhankuta by 5-1 & entered semifinals.
Ashim Rai (77, 90+5) scored a brace while Sushil Rai (79′), Martins (23′) & Bhuwan Basnet (71′) scored apiece for the winners. Oscar scored one for the losing side in 86th minute.
Ashim Rai was declared the player of the match to win Rs 7,000 in cash.
The winner of the tournament will get Rs 5 lakh.
Birtamod United and Real Star youth club will play tomorrow.
