Omari Forson is set to join Serie A club Monza when his contract at Manchester United expires this month.
The 19-year-old is anticipated to depart United this summer after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract, according to a report from The Athletic earlier this month.
After making his United debut in the FA Cup third round triumph at Wigan Athletic in January, Forson went on to make seven appearances with the first team.
In stoppage time on February 1, the youngster set up Kobbie Mainoo’s game-winning goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Later that month, he started his debut senior match at home against Fulham in the Premier League, starting ahead of Amad and Antony.
After moving to United from Tottenham Hotspur in January 2019, Forson progressed through the development levels of the Club and was a member of the Under-18s FA development Cup-winning squad in 2022, which included current first-team players Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Monza are preparing up for their third consecutive season in the Italian top division after finishing 12th in Serie A last season.
