Golden Star Youth Club, Bhaluwa, Sunsari has entered the finals of the ongoing 1st Budhiganga monsoon football tournament.
In the second semi-final held on Thursday, Golden Star won 3-2 over Junior Football Club, Lakhantari, Morang and secured the final spot.
Dhiraj Chaudhary, Harshit Chaudhary and Shrawan Gachhadar scored goals for Golden Star Youth Club at at the ground of Shree Karmavir Ma Vi ground, Budhiganga-5, Hattimuda, Morang.
Binod Chaudhary and Ritesh Rajbanshi scored goals for the defeated Junior Football Club.
Harshit Chaudhary of Golden Star Youth Club was declared Man of the Match in the match and received Nrs 500 cash.
Golden Star Youth Club will now face Golden Star Youth Club Junior for the title in the final on Shrawan 26, Saturday.
The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 25,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 15,000.
