In a meeting at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, president Joan Laporta has informed Xavi Hernández that he will not be continuing as FC Barcelona coach in the 2024-25 season.
Xavi, who had already expressed his desires to leave the club earlier this season took back his decision only to get sacked by the board few months later.
The Spaniard joined his boyhood club as a manager back in 2021 led them to LaLiga and Supercopa de España glory in the 2022-23 season will be coaching the team for the last time in Sunday’s away game against Sevilla.

However, the managerial spot at the Camp Nou will not remain vacant as Hansi Flick who was sacked by the German National Team back in September is set to replace him and he’s just waiting for the formal documents to sign in as the new FC Barcelona head coach, as reported by @FabrizioRomano.
Flick coached the Bayern Munich side which won the sextuple and an infamous 8-2 victory over the Blaugranas.
