Junior Football Club, Lakhantari, Morang has entered to the quarter-finals of 1st Budhiganga monsoon football tournament in Budhiganga-5 Hattimuda, Morang.
Junior FC defeated Budhiganga Youth Club, Morang 3-2 in the second pre-quarterfinals played on Wednesday.
Saroj Chaudhary, Samir Majhi and Bikram Rajbanshi scored apiece for the winners while Sudip Gachhadar scored a brace for Budhiganga.
Sudip Gachhadar became the man of the match and received Nrs 500 cash.
Biratnagar Sports Academy, Morang will play against PPUFC, Motipur, Morang in the third pre-quarterfinals match on Thursday.
12 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 25,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 15,000.
