Green City Football Club, Banarjhula, Morang has entered to the quarter-finals of 1st Budhiganga monsoon football tournament.
Green City FC defeated Raj Club, Khanar, Sunsari 2-1 in the fourth pre-quarterfinals match held at Karmavir Ma Vi ground, Budhiganga-5, Hattimuda, Morang.
Arjun Chaudhary and Anurag Majhi scored apiece for the winners while Sujan Chaudhary scored a goal for Raj Club.
Arjun Chaudhary was declared the man of the match and received Nrs 500 cash.
Duhabi Youth Club, Sunsari will play against Himchuli Club, Damak, Jhapa in the first quarterfinals match on Saturday.
12 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 25,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 15,000.
