Nepal’s 21 year old skipper, Rohit Paudel will become the youngest captain to lead a team at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The previous record was held by Zimbabwe’s Prosper Utseya in the very first edition of the T20 World Cup 2007 when Utseya led Zimbabwe at the age of 22 in a 5 wickets victory against Australia.
Paudel, currently at the age of 21 is the captain of a young Nepali side featuring in the global stage after 10 long years.
Paudel, who is the second youngest captain in ODI Cricket will break another record in June, against Netherlands, as he will be the youngest captain ever to lead a senior side in a T20 World Cup.
