Golden Star Youth Club (Junior), Bhaluwa, Sunsari has entered the finals of ongoing 1st Budhiganga monsoon football tournament.
Golden Star (Junior) defeated Shanti Yuwa Sporting Club, Itahari 2-1 in the first semi-finals match played at the ground of Shree Karmavir Ma Vi ground, Budhiganga-5, Hattimuda, Morang.
Mohammad Ajamad of Shanti Yuwa scored own goal and Shubham Gachhadar scored one goal for Golden Star Youth Club. Mohammad Amir scored one and only goal for Shanti Yuwa Sporting Club.
Ankit Chaudhary of Golden Star Youth Club (Junior) was named the player of the match and received Nrs 500 cash.
The second semi-final match will be played between Golden Star Youth Club, Bhaluwa, Sunsari and Junior Football Club, Lakhantari, Morang on Thursday.
The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 25,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 15,000.
