West Indies fiery pacer Anderson Phillip has agreed to sign with Pokhara Avengers for the Nepal Premier League.
The 28-year old has already represented the West Indies side in test cricket twice, making his debut against Bangladesh in Gros Islet and he last played for the West Indies red ball side against Australia in the same year in Adelaide.
Not only in red ball cricket, he has collected 5 caps for the West Indies in ODIs picking up 4 wickets while doing so. He has furthermore reprsented Trinbago Knight Riders in the Carribean Premier League as well.
Phillip currently plays first-class cricket for Lanchasire in the County Championship Division One where he recently picked up 9 wickets in one match against Worcestshire.
The Carribean brings a new dynamic to the Avengers’ pace lineup clocking at an average speed of 140 km/h.
